“Truth always matters – I would do it again”

As a whistleblower in the NHS, the author did not have to break the law to suffer the detriment for which the NHS is notorious – she merely had to ask for the law and best practice in mental health care to be adhered to, and thoroughly. Yet she feels, she can in empathy with Katharine Gun use the expression from her (see The Spy Who Tried to Stop a War). What follows is an article in Central Bylines about the present author’s case. Part 2 is in planning. Many thanks to Simon Ferrigno and co-workers!)
