Adding to the post-covid and post-Brexit travel chaos is now – rail strike.

So for 2 hrs, while travelling cross-counties – I am joining the crowd

in the station concourse looking bewildered if not lost – and for once I can legitimately say, have to say: I am not one of them:

As over retirement age, I travel free on a bus pass. I have simply missed my connection by 5 minutes – and there is not

another bus for my destination before another two-and-a-half hrs – that’s just normal Sunday travel.
