shreds – what a party

in my shed, about my chest height

behind the canned peaches and meat

they dragged out a card board box of rye vita

and munched

through cellophane portion bags

to heart’s content,

left 10g of crumbs and

some shreds of card board –

although most of the package too was gone

240g of my favourite brand

healthy multigrain

was the party piece, all

in one night – so who spread the word

I never knew
