Listening to one or the other today on waking in the morning reminded me of the sort-of mythological
idea ‘owls are needed when psychic protection is needed’ I came across last year. I still don’t like it – it seems to me a kind-of regressive and anthropomorphising concept.
However, what occurred to me this morning and seems much more suitable in my case – with some experience of feeling manipulated via ESP – is this: I can, I will use listening to Owl to set the intention to protect my own territory – as owls are rather territorial – so can I be.
For one, I am rather fortunate that my little backyard garden borders on not one but two owl territories across a railway line ..
