Season – d’Verse Poet’s Pub prompt

  • a Quadrille

My purpose in life: clear like the sky beyond clouds beyond words,

seasoned with doubt, aggravation, adversity, utter nonsense, dust from

galaxies, false starts, yet clear like the sky beyond clouds.

Moon dust, gold dust, detritus – a mixed bag: yet I claim my seat.

  1. “dust from galaxies and false starts,
yet clear like the sky beyond clouds.”

  2. A few words that express such courage: “a mixed bag: yet I claim my seat” Wonderful line in a wonderful poem, Barbara.

  3. I am humbled – just threw it together as I – spat it out. Thank you.

  4. You claim your seat, Barbara, with all your width. πŸ™‚

  5. I love the way you find the clarity beyond that wonderful dust.

  6. I like what you’ve done here very much. For some reason, “false starts” stands out for me.
