a rare comeback

most readers will know the feeling ‘darn I should have said…’ As do I. Today I had a rare breakthrough. While shopping, in the home-baking aisle, I encountered a youngish woman talking into her mobile phone – loudly. Passing, I said, can you speak up a bit, I can’t hear you very well. The woman grinned, mouthed an apology (!) and turned her volume down (a bit).

Ah, the relief of getting old disgracefully … Let’s not spoil the day by talking about the price – senior moments. 😉
