keep it grounded: gratefulness – with haiku

  • I said to someone yesterday – keep it grounded, and – today I am reminded of a beautiful way, I think, to be non-religious with it:
  • Brother David Steindl-Rast, a pioneer of interreligious dialogue, in fact with his practice of gratefulness suggestion, as I read it, invites to live in the pause – just as the 12-step group I mentioned the other week with their centering prayer –
  • the web site is ….gratefulness dot org – and under the tab for practice, you even find a week of living with haiku;
  • enjoy all! and if you grumble ‘nothing to be grateful for..’ be grateful to be alive and grumble, if you must.
