just a moment…?

Having for several years now benefitted from Diana Winston’s mindfulness practice (see UCLA web site), there remains something  puzzling me – some authors describe it as a focus on the present moment, the present breath, sensations in the body…
I have always felt there is much more to it than that. One indicator for me has been when Diana Winston at the end of the mediation for working with difficulties says ‘you are not the only one’ – that has always got my heart leaping and a deep breath-out of relief – it feels so right. – Now, the other day, I read by one mindfulness supporter or teacher: ‘drinking a cup of coffee mindfully, you are connected with the pickers and processors of the beans’ – and that seems even more accurate.
